The Owls finalized their spring practice schedule under first-year head coach Rod Carey with a Fan Fest at the Temple Sports Complex on Saturday.

Each of Temple’s three gymnasts will compete in their respective events, the balance beam, floor exercise and vault.

Since 2015, Temple has had at least one athlete from Prestige Gymnastics, a club in Lancaster.

Temple will host Wichita State on Friday in one of their last games of the season. The Owls are headed for their worst season since 2010.

Kyra Coundourides, a 2018 alumna, is the assistant coach at Baldwin Wallace University, where her parents played.

The Owls lost both conference matchups to Cincinnati and East Carolina over the weekend.

Tyler Lindgren’s experience helped her earn significant playing time this season.

The Owls have more international players on the team than any other school in the conference.

The Owls lost to High Point University, nationally ranked University of Utah, and Villanova this past weekend.
