Temple junior epee fencer Naomi Ross and freshman foil fencer Anna Novoseltseva concluded their first NCAA championship appearances on March 25.

Ross would compete as a modern pentathlete, participating in fencing, freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, pistol shooting and cross country.

Kamali Thompson competed for Temple’s fencing team from 2008-12.

An epee has fenced in three European nations in the last three months.

Temple fencing sent 12 fencers to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional on Saturday in North Carolina.

The Owls swept both the weapon and individual titles.

Temple’s only loss came to No. 1 Princeton.
