Eric Mobley resigned Friday after six years as track & field head coach.

Temple’s Gabe Pickett and Matt Kaycon failed to make it out of the NCAA East Regional preliminary round Friday, ending the team’s season.

Five charges brought by a former track & field thrower were dismissed, while three remain.

The senior earned two medals at the penultimate meet.

Pickett qualified for the finals of the long jump.

The historic men’s track & field program will be eliminated after this season.

Past and current track members took part in the Owls Alumni Invitational.

Gabe Pickett and Demeshia Davis guided the Owls to a first-place finish.

The two freshmen are having breakout seasons on the track & field team.
