The Owls snapped a two-game losing streak by beating East Carolina in four sets on the road Friday night.

Coach Bakeer Ganesharatnam’s lineup change ignited a third set rally for the Owls, but a stoppage by the officials killed the team’s momentum in Friday’s 3-0 loss to South Florida.

The Owls fell in straight sets against South Florida on Friday at McGonigle Hall to end their five game winning-streak.

The Owls have now won four straight conference games and five straight overall after beating Southern Methodist in five sets on Sunday in Dallas.
