Philadelphia Society for Services to Children, or PSSC, will hold its annual ToyShop on Tuesday, December 21 and Wednesday, December 22.
Each year, PSSC invites the parents and caregivers of the families we serve to choose presents for their children from our free “shop.” This helps to ensure a bright holiday for needy children, and gives the parents the gift of deciding what their child will unwrap on Christmas morning. PSSC social workers discuss age-appropriate gifts and expectations as the parent deliberates on what to select.

Philadelphia Society for Services to Children is a child abuse prevention agency that has served the families of Philadelphia since 1835. PSSC believes that a child is best served by growing up in a loving family home, and so we work to strengthen families that are in crisis. By addressing the factors that contribute to child abuse and neglect we prevent abuse before a child is harmed. All of our programs are voluntary – the men and women who we serve come to PSSC because they want to be better mothers and fathers.
