A man fired shots at another man driving a silver truck on Diamond Street near 18th at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, wrote Charles Leone, director of Campus Safety Services.
Police previously suspected the shots were fired by the truck driver. However, after police officers found the truck on Broad Street near Montgomery Avenue, the truck driver said he was shot at by an unknown man, causing him to flee the scene, Leone wrote.
A shell casing was found near the scene, but no injuries or property damage have been reported in connection with the incident, he added.
