Rapid testing for symptomatic students and employees began at testing centers on Monday

Temple reported 90 active COVID-19 cases among students and employees today.

Temple plans to continue offering testing for students and faculty for the rest of the semester.

The same number of students tested positive for the disease in Fall 2019.

Ten of the cases are outside of Philadelphia, the city’s Department of Public Health reported.

Student Health Services and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health held their first free vaccination clinic on Main Campus on Wednesday.

The university will hold two vaccination clinics this week for students, faculty and staff.

RiseTU supported the university providing free vaccines, but BecomingTU thought it was an unrealistic request.

Employee and Student Health Services reported on Monday that seven students tested positive for the infectious disease.

Two female faculty members began providing tampons and pads in restrooms after the university said it could not.
