In the team’s first competition of 2016, the Owls lost to Central Michigan 193.425-188.900 in Umme Salim-Beasley’s coaching debut.

Offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield left the Owls to coach at Tennessee Tech University from the Ohio Valley Conference on Monday.
