The Owls opened American Athletic Conference play with a 3-0 win against South Florida Friday.

The volleyball team eyes its first American Athetic Conference title since joining the conference in 2013.

Temple defeated Montana 3-0 Friday at McGonigle Hall in the team’s opening match at Hilton Penn’s Landing Cherry and White Challenge.

After nearly ending her volleyball career five year ago, Irem Asci found her passion for the game with the help of a new coach.

The Owls fell in straight sets to Seton Hall at the Walsh Gymnasium Saturday night.
