If you couldn’t make it to New Orleans this year for Mardi Gras, don’t fret. Cheer up with a nice, tall stack of pancakes, courtesy of IHOP. Eating pancakes was actually the original way to enjoy Fat Tuesday since it combined a number of dairy products, which would be off-limits starting the next day. In honor of National Pancake Day, treat yourself – while supplies last.

For 25 years, the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has beautified the exterior of city buildings with art that reflects the culture and essence of its people. On the last Saturdays of the month from Feb. 28 until October, help celebrate 25 years of the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program with free guided tours to the various murals around the city. Bank of America, sponsor of the program, has arranged for tours to depart from its various locations. North Philadelphia has the honor of the first free tour Saturday at the Bank of America branch at Broad Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue – conveniently located at the edge of campus. Reservations are required, so call ahead of time to reserve your seat.
