The Owls’ season ended after Wednesday’s 4-0 loss to Southern Methodist in the conference tournament.

The 12th-seeded Owls lost, 4-0, to No. 5 Southern Methodist on the Mustangs’ home court on Wednesday in Dallas.

Two players missed Saturday’s 6-1 loss to Penn, which was Temple’s second straight loss.

Temple’s four-match winning streak ended on Friday and Saturday with back-to-back losses to the University of Delaware and Penn.

Three Owls won their singles matches in straight sets in Temple’s 6-1 win against Fordham University on Friday at the Penn Tennis Center.
