The Owls will open their season at home against Bucknell University on Aug. 31 at Lincoln Financial Field for Rod Carey’s first game as the Temple head coach.

From 2012-18, Rod Carey led Northern Illinois University to two Mid-American Conference championships, but the team went 0-6 in bowl games.

Men’s basketball coach Fran Dunphy enter his final season as Temple’s coach, fencing coach Nikki Franke earned her 800th win, and the women’s soccer team defeated their first ranked opponent since 1995.
