TUGSA will present the deal to its membership for ratification in the coming days.

Sanders’ support comes just one day after TUGSA began their strike to advocate for increased pay, longer parental leave and classroom improvements.

The strike comes two months after the union voted to authorize it.

Ninety-nine percent of union members voted to authorize the measure.

Credit cards, cellphones and a vehicle were stolen, according to police.

Fetterman won with 49.5 percent of the vote, in a close race against Mehmet Oz.

Democrat Josh Shaprio has defeated State. Sen Doug Mastriano (R-33) with 54.8 percent of the vote.

The grassroots event comes just days ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections.
