Police arrested the man on Cecil B. Moore Avenue near 21st Street and recovered the $400 he stole.

Police arrested a man for shooting another man in the stomach while the victim was taking a pregnant woman to Temple University Hospital.

No injuries were reported in connection to the shooting, which took place Wednesday night.

The assault was reported in an off-campus residence on Broad Street near West Girard Avenue early Saturday morning.

The man was shot once in the torso and was pronounced dead just before 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police responded to at least two armed robberies and reports of gunshots near Temple’s Main Campus during the last two weeks.

The man was taken to Temple University Hospital after being shot in the left arm and leg Wednesday evening.

The man ran into a house on Carlisle Street when police attempted to stop his vehicle.

The university announced the Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students will meet with students who made racist posts on social media.
